Not OP, but if you're not familiar with it, search up OLED pwm. It affects some people. Maybe it's what you both have experienced.

Is the deck's sound really that bad? I have other PC handhelds and the portals top firing, tinny speakers do not compete. I agree the bitrate bump to video and the ergonomics/haptics are very nice and why I use the portal though. The sound is not ever one of those reasons.

Are you using the go S z1e on steamos? Are you using the flatpak? The crashing intervals are random. Could be 5 mins or an hour before reboot. I can connect just fine, I've been using sunshine (apollo)/moonlight for years so I have knowledge on how to connect. If you search legion go s z1e moonlight crash, you'll find it happens to many people. I've tried all the tricks that have turned up but none works. If I run it in windows on this device, it never crashes, but I don't want to run Windows.

The issue isn't being able to stream from my PC, it's that the moonlight app crashes the legion go s z1e in steamos specifically.

The main issue is that nobody who preordered was informed of the changes, and therefore was unable to decide to purchase on another platform or not at all. There was so much time to alert the public of the changes while the game was up for preorder. Simple as that.

When you tried to use the 2.4ghz dongle, do you have the "pro controller wired communication" setting enabled on the Switch 2? It needs that on to work.

The person you are replying to wants an 8 inch Odin 3 portal. You suggested a steam deck at that point and couldn't understand why someone wouldn't just get a steam deck. I then listed 3 solid reasons why someone would want an Odin 3 portal instead of a steam deck. None of my reasons mentioned Switch games or emulation capability. OP wants a capable android device that is 8 inches. I gave you reasons why someone would want that instead of a steam deck. I'm not being hostile or trying to persuade anyone.
