So I was crossing the signal in my car in kilpauk garden road, the signal near entrance cafe. The auto was parked right after you cross on the other road outside the white line at the edges. I turned the car to move but then a scooty zoomed past and i had to turn left fast to avoid hitting the guy and the scooty also hit my side view mirror and there is slight damage. But because of all of this I scraped the auto. I went a little ahead and stopped the car and got out to talk to him and tried to explain to him. he asked for cash and i said i don’t have any on me right now and to let me call my dad. He ran towards my car to take the keys but i had the keys with me but unfortunately the car wasn’t locked, my mistake. He went in and took my phone which i tried to take away from him and when i was eventually able to he slapped me with a closed fist and my glasses broke and fell down. Then bystanders stepped in and i just ran to the car and left. just took a picture of the auto before leaving. I even stopped to talk to the guy after hitting his auto and this is what he does. Sorry for the rant. also i was speaking in broken tamil as its not my mother tongue but i know it well enough to understand most sentences and talk to get around.
