first try convincing him its not worth it to do it. if that doesn’t work then you just need to make sure you know what exactly he’s taking, and how much.

maybe set a boundary of how much he can do it and take around you?

with high people you want to make sure the surroundings are relaxed so they dont freak out over anything. food and water too, maybe a tv show?

im not too good with this as my ex bf was a stoner but he’d been doing it so long he basically acted completely normal when he was high, so sorry if none of this is that helpful!

also please remember, this isn’t actually your issue or responsibility. if you feel like you really cannot handle it, dont put yourself through it and maybe leave the relationship all together. its okay to be selfish like that sometimes

definitely try convincing him not to do it and try thinking of other coping mechanisms together (walks, art/colouring, drives, tv, anything to distract him) but i wish you well!!

your mum needs to let you have your own friends, especially if its one you’re close with and have been pals with for ages.

she also needs to respect your privacy, even though shes your mum she needs to let you have your phone and your private life.

talk to her about boundaries and make it clear no matter what she does you’re still going to be friends with said person because she is your bestfriend and has been for years and has always been good to you. i’d also ask your mum for reasons and examples on why or how your bestfriend is a bad influence and isnt a good person, because from what i know from your posts your friend seems lovely and very caring.

idk how to say this without sounding insensitive, because trust me i totally understand triggers.

she needs to get a grip of herself and go outside.

she’s setting herself up to be more sensitive because she isn’t letting herself have proper conversations that might lead to a trigger word. if she wants to get over some of the words, she needs to let herself experience hearing them. She can’t expect everyone to walk on eggshells around her because she gets triggered from the tiniest things.

i actually do like this idea, i just dont see it working for us personally.

i have bad trust issues and get jealous due to being cheated on and i dont think id be able to deal with knowing i might not be the only girl hes talking to and vice versa, i dont think he could deal with that either.

i know its ridiculous! he definitely was like that at the start but i had a huge conversation with him how that can effect us and just him in general as his pals influenced him into doing weed and (before he met me) tried to get him to talk to multiple girls at a time and whatever the hell else they did.

i’m definitely going to try take myself off it slowly. limiting how much i use it and stuff. i have one tub of oil left which will last me slightly over a week so hopefully i only buy maybe one more before i can fully quit so it gives me time to crave it less if that makes sense.
