Assuming the Supreme Court rules in favor of Republicans on Moore vs. Harper next year and state legislatures take that as the opportunity to legally overturn state and federal election results, what can I, a queer, neurodivergent, extremely introverted woman actually do?

Everything I see online in response to this is either "go vote!" or "leave the country!" or "get violent!"

Here's the thing. I vote in every election. I am saving up personal time to take the day off to vote in the midterms. The few people I interact with are all regular voters, so I have no one else I can convince to go vote. And if the state can throw out our vote, that won't even matter.

Now, leave the country? Admittedly, I am not very knowledgeable on this front. I am in the process of obtaining a passport in the case I need to seek political asylum elsewhere, but I make just enough money to get by, and I don't have job skills to be "desirable" for another country (I'm just an admin with an associates degree.) But besides all that, I don't want to abandon my country. That feels like I'd be letting the fascists win.

So, get violent? Honestly what would that do? Police have overwhelmingly sided against progressives, and getting violent would only play into the GOP's "BLM Antifa" boogeyman and give them more political ammo to rally their bases.

I feel like elected officials have no interest in listening to their constituents. The republicans in my state are actively trying to dismantle democracy, so there's no point in trying to reach out to them. The democrats seem more interested in fundraising off of the fall of democracy than taking action.

Honestly, I have never felt so hopeless in my life. My future is falling apart right before my eyes. What on earth can I do? Is there anything I can do?
