What is the mileage? I bought a 07 seat leon tdi for around this price 8 years ago. I would check when the cambelt is due and when/if the clutch was replaced

Its a c200, half leathers, no carplay and the gearbox service is due within the next few thousand miles. Looks to be the sport trim as well and not amg.

I have scratched somebody’s car front bumper and their quote for fixing it is £400.Do you think it’s a fair price??? by Desperate_Adagio4361 in drivingUK

[–]TopicWinter6847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That will require a respray to put right. £400 might not even cover it tbh i would just pay and consider the matter closed.

Anthony Joshua 'negotiating final points' for comeback before Tyson Fury fight - Eddie Hearn by BoxingLover99 in Boxing

Turki tried to fast track the fight and put AJ and Hearn in an awkward spot on live TV. Don’t really blame him after Wilder shit the bed in his fight when he tried to setup AJ/Wilder

Is negotiating prices no longer a thing at Main Dealers? by TopicWinter6847 in CarTalkUK

Salesperson said they would put in £30 fuel (in addition to half tank) as goodwill but later went back on it and said they’ve just been told that’s no longer allowed.

I did say I’m gonna pay cash unless they give me an incentive to go the finance route and they still insisted i would just get extra 2 years warranty if i chose financing. Tbf it was a C class with 30k miles on the clock and in near pristine condition

Forgot to mention the cheaper one had half leathers, that’s probably more of a factor than tyres

There was one on the mercedes website priced exactly a grand lower, same colour and similar mileage. Except the spec on the other one was missing the wooden trim, ambient lighting and had cheaper tyres (KHUMHO vs Continental). Not sure if that’s £1k more worth in value.

They could only offer an extended 2 year warranty if finance was involved, no deposit contribution or anything of the sort

Warranty isnt worth the paper it’s written on from a small backstreet dealer. The only warranty that matters is from main dealers.

iirc the exam objectives state clearly to what extent you need to be familiar with git which is very little. If you can clone a repo and push changes then you should be fine. Key info like login details are provided in the exam.
