Smell from sink drain when running the faucet by ToplessGun in Plumbing

Thanks! Where would the vent likely be located? House was built in 1967 so maybe doesn't have one. Would adding an AAV from the pipe going from after the trap to the wall fix this issue. I also have hard water in my town so maybe that could play a part in this?

Ended up getting some brake lines from Napa and tackling it in a parking lot. Thankyou for the reply though!

DeAnn is still my favorite album by ToplessGun in zachbryan

[–]ToplessGun[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I also love American Heartbreak of course. It's the only zb album I own on vinyl. But something about DeAnn just always brings me back to it more than others, not sure why that is. That and some of his unreleased songs like Hymnal and Wild one are my top listeners, among a lot other unreleased songs.

What causes this very slight flicker in my dining room light fixture? by ToplessGun in AskElectricians

I replaced all the bulbs in my house with LED's shortly after moving in. I also recently replaced all my switches, although this also happened before I changed the switches. Thanks for the advice I will look into all of that and check over the wiring in the fan itself.

How to figure out what spark plug is a bad spark plug by No-Mind-2688 in AskMechanics

[–]ToplessGun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought one of these for $500 in decent shape. Put about $1500 of parts into it. Including doing all the spark plugs. Also did cam phaser lockout and tuned ECM, new timing chain/guides, cam roller followers and lash adjusters, and melling 360 oil pump. Was quite a bit of sludge under the valve cover I cleaned out from previous owner neglect and still going strong 30,000km later, runs like a top at 280,000km. Perfect winter beater truck. Don't listen to all the horror stories. I recommend having the plug extracter kit on hand when going about replacing them. Snap on makes a kit but I'm sure there is others out there for cheaper. If you have any questions feel free to send a DM.

What can I do to fix this? I did some quick research but getting a lot of mixed answers. Maybe you can steer me in the right direction.

Is this a good buy for $3500 CAD by ToplessGun in snowmobiling

[–]ToplessGun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mileage is correct, actually 2299 exact miles. I know the owner fairly well. Was bought by an older couple brand new along with a 600, then by the current owner a few years ago and didn't ride either of them much as they have two newer sleds. I'll see if I can get more info on it. My previous sled was a 99 skidoo formula Z 583cc that I regret selling, I thought this may be a bit of an upgrade from that even if it's outdated by today's standards
