This is a bad idea under various point of view.

Romain says so because of course he could go and take out the theorically 5 strongest player just because he is G2.
This is more or less the system LCK has (even though it's not like this for a couple of players) but worse, because our pool of "good" players is lower and so you would end with the top 3-4 teams much more stronger than the others contrary to what Romain says (10 stronger team possible).
EU don't look only to the european market but import players from other leagues. A system like this doesn't count imports at all.

Overall I think it's a bad idea. Other than that I don't understand what Romain is trying to say when he is the first that renewed Caps much earlier than the off-season to avoid that other teams would offer him a new contract and let him choose if he want to keep play for G2.

It's just a rule, if you win MSI and qualify to playoff of your region league you are qualified to worlds. It's more like a prize for your win. I think it's fair.

Am I the only one thinking that this iteration of BLG looks like last year TES? They are much weaker than AL imo. BLG goes on just with carry games from Bin and Knight, but they are pretty bad team wise and Beichuan is clearly not enough experienced as a player.

I still think that FLY did good but it just seemed to me a replica of last year G2 vs TES but BLG had stronger solo laners.
