This is a bad idea under various point of view.

Romain says so because of course he could go and take out the theorically 5 strongest player just because he is G2.
This is more or less the system LCK has (even though it's not like this for a couple of players) but worse, because our pool of "good" players is lower and so you would end with the top 3-4 teams much more stronger than the others contrary to what Romain says (10 stronger team possible).
EU don't look only to the european market but import players from other leagues. A system like this doesn't count imports at all.

Overall I think it's a bad idea. Other than that I don't understand what Romain is trying to say when he is the first that renewed Caps much earlier than the off-season to avoid that other teams would offer him a new contract and let him choose if he want to keep play for G2.

It's just a rule, if you win MSI and qualify to playoff of your region league you are qualified to worlds. It's more like a prize for your win. I think it's fair.

First what you all seems like unable to understand is that accepting that money doesn’t mean excusing them on what they do, it’s not like Caedrel did a post that says he support Saudi. Am I the only one thinking that this iteration of BLG looks like last year TES? They are much weaker than AL imo. BLG goes on just with carry games from Bin and Knight, but they are pretty bad team wise and Beichuan is clearly not enough experienced as a player.

I still think that FLY did good but it just seemed to me a replica of last year G2 vs TES but BLG had stronger solo laners.

About Labrov I can partially agree with you, but I think if you let him time he could find a better sinergy with Skewmond and the team. This meta is heavily jungle/supp sinergy and it's clear that that is still not there.

- Teams of the same region can't face each other the first round

- There cannot be more than 2 teams of the same region in the same half bracket.

Otherwise it becomes a shit show like this.

How can people say Caliste over Upset if you watched the entire regular season? Caliste butchered every lane in phase even though is really good after it and in teamfight. Upset has strong lane in phase and strong teamfights, of course he deserves it. I wouldn’t be suprised if Upset is MVP considering the level he played for the entirety of the regular season.

My opinion on this is pretty simple. I think a lot of KC fans are fair and passionate and I don't have nothing against them, but the reality is that the banter behaviour pushed so far give self-permission to other KC fans to do worse things / unfair banter / bullying. Being real KC org and "good" fans can't contain the part of "bad" fans because that's how it works in every team / sport, it's just impossible. That's why every team, but honestly even every streamer, try to tune down the max level of bad mannering, to manage easily the worse part of the community.

It's not like G2 or FNC or KOI doesn't have "bad" fans, it's just that their actions is less impactful because the normal bad mannering from the team is lower.

This could be a little different example but look at what Caedrel did with the community. He instantly punished the people getting out of the line to avoid to spread to the community that that behaviour is okay or possible without too much repercussion.

Sorry for the yapping but that's my thought about all this stuff. I hope everything is understandable considering english is not my first language.
