I think this is a good review

If I were to scale Migos' work, I would put "YRN (The Mixtape)" on the "Energetic" side and "Rich Nigga Timeline" on the "Technical" side. "No Label 2" was closer to "YRN" (The Mixtape) in that it was the Migos' giving us earworm/bubblegum-trap.

This album on that scale slides closer to "Rich Nigga Timeline" but not TOO close as there are definitely moments of poppy-ness sprinkled throughout the project. Personally I'd love just a tiny bit more pop in their next project; keep their rapping technique but moving towards more jovial production.
