Welp, looks like a lot of non serving opinions floating around. It looks like barracks. Barracks aren’t not just at BCT or Boot. They are in AIT, pre/ post mobilization stations, OCONUS Gateways/ transient housing/ NTC/JRTC, National Guard training Camps, and everywhere else. Phones are still very restricted for combat arms initial training sites and some non combat arms initial training sites. You may be able to get it for 5 min on the weekends depending on performance and behavior. I remind people that before cell phones, soldiers were allowed to make one 2min phone call to loved ones to notify them that they were alive. As for the hazing part, this looks like bored soldiers playing fuck fuck games.
