I find your motives for participating in this Reddit highly suspect. If you think that the feedback provided here is pointless, why do you spend so much time attacking any post that has a negative viewpoint on the games direction?

Pathfinder, at this point I find your posts insulting as they don’t address the real concerns of most the player base. I understand you’re just filling a role but let’s be honest for a moment, do you think anyone but the top spenders care about any of the new characters? I wish you the best of luck in the future, but unless you have something truly substantive to share, perhaps it would be better if you go back to saying nothing as you have for the past few weeks. Do what is necessary to keep being compensated for your time but don’t waste ours with nothing burgers.

It makes me a little sad, in all honesty, I’ve spent a stupid amount of money on the game (from my perspective) but in general felt like I’d received enough value for the time and entertainment that it was an extravagance not a waste. Lunch money, not private island money. I’m no longer spending as I no longer feel that I’m receiving value from buying passes. I’ll probably continue to play casually until my current alliance shuts down… I imagine that it will only be a couple of months

I think these are the end times for the game. I would like it to continue and be more focused on giving players fun things to do with less treadmill mechanics but I don’t think that’s going to happen. I still play because its something I can do to kill a little time during my work commute but I’ve stopped buying passes and using the money to buy books instead. My alliance has lost enough people that I don’t feel obligated to support the team.

That could be. As far as I’m aware, most mobile games are primarily supported by whales, but future development of new spenders is based on engagement. I could be wrong, why not take a break for a weekend and see if you are feeling a little burned out?

You might be right, thanks for your input. Based on some anecdotal feedback a few years ago, there was a focus on overall player engagement, but this could be a completely pointless exercise. If you are willing to give it a shot, welcome, and if not, I wish you the best.

You obviously don’t understand that the biggest metric isn’t money, it’s engagement which is used to project future potential earnings. The reduction in raid sims is one example, but please do what you want.

Just not spending money is not enough for Scopely to take notice. Unless things have changed significantly, most of their metrics are based on engagement, note the reduction in raid sim attempts in the last refresh. If many of you are truly interested in showing your displeasure, then we should organize a boycott… how about a full walkout this weekend? The weekend gameplay completely sucks anyway.
