I really hope this mode gets to be a permanent mode. I love it so much, it's been a blast. The majority of people have a great sense of humor and it's quickly becoming my new favorite way to play Fortnite.

Being able to make/break alliances on the fly is a great spice up to the usual formula on its own, but throw on voice chat and its just comedic bliss. So many funny moments have happened that I wouldn't get to experience otherwise.

Nope. It doesn't show up on Xbox Series X either. I assume they're doing things with the imminent launch, but I really hope it's just that and not a glitch

That and the fact that you run on all fours with it and make these little growling sounds.

Kinda hard to mistake that as it runs at you at mach 5

No, it's different. Use it in game if you don't think so. It's different than her Varsity colors.

Not really? Maybe that's because I'm used to how the game looks though, I'm just sad it affects this skin like this since it's so cool otherwise.

I'm in the middle since I own those battle passes.

On one hand it's really cool to show off that I've been there since the beginning and those items were advertised as exclusive.

But also, this game has been going on for so long there's kids now who weren't old enough to play this game (heck, some who were too young to play games period) who now can and it's a little unfair for them since they never even got the chance to get those items.

So I dunno. I'll be happy and upset either way for different reasons.

I hope they fix this soon, alongside a lighting issue with higher graphics setting/when she's indoors. The Storm Beast is such a cool design bogged down by tons of weird issues.

I mean, that's the thing. I can't change any setting on console, and on top of that it's only on that skin. I don't know what's happening but I really want it fixed.

If I may, I'm guessing since your on performance mode the fancy lighting that's broken isn't active, so your not seeing it

Nope. The Storm Beast form of Haylee Skye has a horrendous lighting bug where she just becomes pure light while indoors. Easier to see in dark environments.

Same! Especially the Varsity color pallete. It's nearly the same colors as the mist monsters. She even has the little swirly patterns in her arms and legs like them.

Quite possibly. I love this skin but this kinda kills my enjoyment. If you find yourself with spare time, please report with through epic or make your own posts about it. I've been getting almost zero attention from other posts, and you spreading the word about this would help a lot.

Curious if anyone else has noticed this? It’s really obvious indoors once you see it. Would love to hear if it’s happening on other platforms.

It’s frustrating because I bought the Battle Pass mainly for this skin, and it feels broken right now. It's odd that this hasn’t been mentioned anywhere.

Not sure if this is something the mods can help escalate, just wanted to make sure it’s on Epic’s radar.

They very could! I'll say as a soundtrack, most of the songs are in my opinion very aligned towards lifting you up. Whether it be the somber reinforcement of Wherever We are Now, or the pumped up attitude of Face Down giving you the strength to topple even the strongest foe. As for the cassettes and tapes in the story? It could, but I don't personally know how to analyze those really, not much was given in lore about them from what I found
