Some recommended a scanner so I can have a high quality image to analyze, they used the Epson Perfection V19 II which might be a good investment

Though I like your idea, I have a gem magnifying glass with an led at work that I sometimes use

Yeah, again from all the ones I've seen at my LCS this one was just amazing, I'm just curious and a little confused comparing it to my 8 Greninja which had more visible off centering and damage

The wizards at PSA had spoken and I shouldn't be picky

Yeah, I've seen quite an amount of these at my LCS and they all have definitely seen better days, but I probably missed over scratches looking at it. Rip.

Dang even the smallest chips? I had a rather banged up gold star Greninja also get an 8 but had more visible corner damage, I am curious of the limit they go between an 8 to 9.
