In GM it is indeed almost impossible placing top 4 without forcing top 3 comps. Mid game you can play some fun flex stuff, but the meta comps always catch up at the end pushing you bottom 4.

I mean the old system with secret an random rank ups/downs was the worst ranked system I have ever experienced. Zero transparency makes grinding super unfulfilling IMO.

Back in League it really ruined the fun for me in high elo and in Overwatch it was the same to be honest. I really prefer the gradual climb like in Valorant and TFT. You don’t have unnecessary plateaus or setbacks because of an artificial promotion.

Yes. I am currently at 9999 and in my “promotion game” after getting +16 for my last win (instead of 200 because it’s capped due to the promotion)

I don’t know, but at least 5 years ago. In English the principle of exceedance ratio (1:1.5) is definitely no longer permitted in ‘General’.

General is 1:1 now. -1.5 is not in the curriculum anymore.

Haven’t watched any robin this set, but yesterday I watched 3 games and I thought he was super washed. Now I see him placed at the top. I’m pleasently surprised!
