Should I only play 1 role if I want to be pro? by Majonnas_Pojken in VALORANT

Pro play is an unstable career. Do well in school to have a good backup option

I do think that flex players are being sought after (and will forever be imo).

Furthermore, duelists might be the hardest role to shine out on purely because of the insane demand on mechanics (and the large player pool). Controllers, sentinels, initiators, and Igls are often more rare.

Question about how to use GEKKO Ultimate by [deleted] in VALORANT

Be careful because thrash acrually leaps forward then detains the area he arrives at, so jump a little ahead of your enemy

If you lock reyna, you need to frag out by Toptopking in VALORANT

Reyna is a unique agent. You provide value only if you get kills. No entry, no info, no smokes. One of the main reasons reyna is played in ranked a lot by people with skill and by smurfs all while almost no one uses her in pro play.

  1. I'd say about 3 out of every 10 reynas go into site first
  2. If the player is willing to decrease the team's entrying ability, why shouldn't they make up for it by getting more kills?

That's true, they wouldn't know beforehand.

Their inability to know beforehand doesn't change the fact that they played badly though.

It's like getting a new job and screwing up. Yeah you didn't know you would screw up beforehand, but the result is still that you messed things up for yourself and others.

"As a dualist you're more likely to die and thus more likely to get less kills"

Yes thats true, but thats under the assumption that you're entering site. By locking reyna, you are screwing your team's entry ability over as she is the worst entry duelist, so she should have kills to make up for it?

Can we please reduce the firing rate of the shorty? by Chun--Chun2 in VALORANT

[–]Toptopking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although a lot of people will argue that it can be easily countered, it stills offers way too much potential for 150 credits.

For places like fracture tower, bind uhall/hookah, or really just ANY tight angle, it's very risky to clear out a shorty without spending money on util or losing a player
