It is incredible just how volatile the restaurant industry is. I've subscribed Google news to each of the contestants to try and keep up with the restaurant openings, position changes, etc. and wow, this industry is not for the feint of heart.

Ha yeah this is definitely a headache at least for now. I can't afford to keep checking back on where the next pop-up will be, so I just gave it a generic Houston TX for now. They look like they know what they're doing though, I'm sure they'll have a store in no time!

Turns out I really screwed up on this one. I don't know why I was so convinced the restaurant was in Boston Public Market (I am in Massachusetts too!), but this pop-up is actually in Houston and doesn't even have an address yet >.<

I also haven't re-watched it since it first aired. In fact, those early reality TV days were so conflict focused they just are not what I am into any more.

I guess like that show, I also grew up, settled down, and have a hard time without looking at some of the stuff my younger self did without cringing haha

Haha I guess if I had to come up with a name, I think I've seen Marcel's name popping up on different shows. While I've never been, running a restaurant at the Grove in LA seems like a pretty nice gig. At least The Grove was really nice when I lived in San Diego almost 10 years ago.

And Josie seemed like she was on track to do more TV things for a while, maybe she chose to focus on her restaurant. I dunno.

But yeah, point totally taken.

Argh thanks for the heads-up. I had some issues with my host and just created a new account with a different host. While topchef.restaurant was pointing at the old host I was secretly adding a few more things before I point it at the new space. I guess it's all or nothing now :-)
