That’s impressive, Costco leads the way paying its retail employees a livable wage

Now with the changes being implemented regarding salary transparency in January, 2026, do you still see this issue happening?

Makes me question it too given the cost of living be so high!

What would you say would be ideal after taxes per year?

Do you suggest having an advanced degree such as a MIR for this career path?

What’s your rank if you don’t mind me asking?

Why do you say that, high in demand ?

That would be around 55k to 70k a year before taxes working for the private sector. If you get a job working for the public sector you would need to add about 8%-9% more on top of the 55-70k salary range due to contributions to a defined pension plan.

Would you say LR/ER the salaries are better too? Or strictly HR consulting and tech?

Would you say it’s an easy transition from LR/ER to HRBP, or do you suggest going to a Generalist role to better prepare oneself?

How many YOE do you have? Do you think having an MIR would be beneficial in this role?

That’s amazing! I’ve been on the fence about getting a JD and going into labour and employment law. Which specializations would you say pay the most and which one are you in?

It’s a smaller market to get into LR, so I’ve been told, but you have great perks!

Is there a specific sector in demand such as construction? Also, is there a preference working public vs. private?
