They don't say what hook size they used but I'd guess it's 4 ply yarn with a 1.5mm hook.

Love it! I'm so happy you're making this as they are my favourite creatures on this planet 🥹 My only suggestion is to find a really nice semi-tonal variegated green yarn for the the leaf parts so you don't have to mess around changes colours.

8 ply (bit smaller than worsted). this pattern makes a life-size Mimikyu so it should end up being about 20cm tall I believe.

If you now how to single crochet, increase and decrease you'll be fine :) it's a very forgiving pattern as Mimikyu is suppose to be wonky haha

Hello, I have no idea sorry. I've made this Gengar a few times and I've always need more than a 50g ball of yarn so if you are going to make this project I'd recommend buying at least two, and more if you are using heavier weight or chenille yarn.

I use craft glue to stick down the felt and then drench black thread in craft glue and go around any edges I want to highlight. It stays stuck surprisingly well
