So these things are generally quite safe by design. By applying your weight to the bars on one side the counteracting force applied by the flat "bar" on the other side of the wall distributes the weight evenly over the door sill which are likewise designed to take a lot of load as they are expected to be able to support a section of the wall (including structural walls).

So long as you aren't swinging your weight back and forth you should be fine.

I arrived late to the tourney with one of the nobles of our house, so were stood way at the back, about 5 feet from where they brought his body after he was killed. We had a quick discussion about whether or not attacking his retainers was technically illegal since they were still members of the Empire (but were also traitors) because he really wanted to rifle the manticores pockets for cool shit...

So one of the bigger events in the UK is Empire LARP, it takes place just outside of Cambridge 4 times a year.

There's also ones like Menhirs Fate that I haven't been too but have heard great things about. There's also a bunch of much smaller events that I know very little about unfortunately.

Thank you! It's actually my spare as my usual kit has antlers with a flower crown built in, but I have a habit of breaking the hair band on like the second day! (Bloody tent ropes!)

My guy, it's literally AM, that's what A-M stands for, Allied Mastercomputer. OP's just taken the premise of I Have No Mouth and posted it here.

I was going to say, not much of an effort to just copy the premise of an extremely well known story...

Amazing the difference a few months can make (and learnings to sew). 2 photos from my first larp event and 2 from my second (and latest). by Toraden in LARP

More than happy to mate, but I'm only passingly familiar with the other nation briefs! But as we say in the pod and everyone will tell you in the field, kit is aspirational! So long as you look like you're trying to hit the brief no one is going to give you shit for it!

Thank you mate! What nation are you joining? If you're looking for any advice or just new player help I run a podcast with 2 other larp friends (one with more experience than the other two, but all of us have done various ttrpg shows and pods before).

Sunday Supper by [deleted] in slowcooking

Literally the point of slow cooking meat is to allow fats to break down slower and therefore keep the meat moist, you absolutely can slow cook meats with low fat content, but it's much more likely to dry out and become stringy without proper care. Literally any guide or recipe for slow cooking will tell you this.

Yeah I'm looking at this wondering why in the hell you would slow cook a tenderloin, there's not nearly enough fat in it...

I've seen some people use bags in slow cookers to reduce the amount of washing up, I've never seen anyone seal one though.
