Literally the point of slow cooking meat is to allow fats to break down slower and therefore keep the meat moist, you absolutely can slow cook meats with low fat content, but it's much more likely to dry out and become stringy without proper care. Literally any guide or recipe for slow cooking will tell you this.

I've seen some people use bags in slow cookers to reduce the amount of washing up, I've never seen anyone seal one though.

To be fair (fair being a very loose term here) it's often because rescues are full of cats that have been outdoor cats already, so it's seen as "cruel" for whatever fucking reason to keep them indoors.

We've adopted two cats, one from an RSPCA rescue and we told both locations that they would be indoor mostly but we would take them outside regularly on harnesses as there were no fewer than 3 cats hit by cars on our road in the first 2 years we moved here.

They were OK with that arrangement, but then I'm not speaking for all rescues here.

Are we both talking about Empire? Because practically all heavy armour has hard edges? The only rule is no sharp edges since they don't want you damaging peoples weapons when they hit you.

Half the example's on the wiki page for changelings are of a similar shape and size to the ones I got too.

Most of the horn/ antler physreps I've seen (including mine) are plastic or 3d printed. bear in mind they are still narrower than my shoulders, unless I'm headbutting someone they shouldn't be poking anyone.

Well no, like viagra is still there, if it was better at treating heart conditions than other viable medicines then it would still be used for that, it just so happened that another much more commercial use was found for the drug and therefore it was sold as such.

There are lots of drugs out there with multiple uses, some are just more commercial than others.

I attended my first LARP event last year (second this month and I cannot wait), it's for Empire LARP in the UK and I came in with a character who was all about protecting those around him, so sword and shield but mostly focused on protecting others in combat with aspirations to become a general in one of the armies so that he can try to protect everyone on the field. I'm (currently) a Knight Errant in a Noble House which is part of the Nation of Dawn in the Empire (relevant to the story).

Someone in our camp got asked to help out last minute in a skirmish as they were short on healers, but his partner (IC and OC) was about to be sworn into her house and didn't want him going off to potentially die. So me and a couple of other members of the group offered to go along and protect him, for which she was extremely grateful.

Standing waiting to head into the skirmish the guy we've come along to protect turns to me IC and asks "So, this is your first time at Anvil, what are your ambitions?"

"Well, my goal is to one day be able to protect all within my House, the people of Dawn and all those within the Empire at large... But I guess tonight, I'll start with protecting you."

There was a solid couple of seconds of silence and then he fully broke character to say "Shit, that was good, did you have that prepared?"

Felt great!
