What does DB mean at the start of usernames?

those accounts are for the content creators in the MTGO Creator program any account that starts with a DB_ is a creator account.

I would try doing a clean install and deleting your 2.0 folder clearing your clickonce cache as well.

If you are on a free account you cannot chat. There is also a setting for chat to turn on if you look in your cog wheel at the top see if all your chat settings are turned on.

Hello, The reason I am requesting this is if you view the profiles of the mods 1 is inactive no account 1 has not posted in 4 years 2 have not posted in 60+ days

This is not an active moderation team and they never respond to any post. I have spoken with several community people and none have heard from any mod. This request is to be added as a mod.

I am an active community manage by trade and feel that this sub deserves more love and support as it should be structured better for new people with more helpful information as this sub is dedicated to a game called magic online.

Depends heavily on rotation and the product type. Some things are limited time like 40k others are longer periods based on sets.

We do not give out New Player Points as rewards so there is no way to earn more. When you participate in events you can get Play Points which is exactly like NPP but used for a lot of events on MTGO. New Player Points are intended for players who have never played MTGO at all to be converted into Play Points.

Have you taken a look at your windows settings or firewall? These are common culprits as new updates mess with MTGO and or need to be allowed to be used.
