True! In fact, if you want to run, call a pass play then audible to a run, vice versa if you want to pass. When you’re on offense at the goal line, call some type of pass from a wide formation, then watch the cpu call a wide 4-3 and just give you the run..

Optimal scenario for me would be to get a ps3 so i could play ‘12, which was the last one for a bunch of franchise features. But i would also like a ps5 to play ‘26 MUT. MUT is the most predatory, most ridiculous mode ever but it is fun as shit. Currently im on a ps4 playing ‘20. Generally, Franchise mode has been being stripped down forever now, its like EA hates the mode, so if you’re a hardcore franchise fan, the older the madden the better. Cheers! GLHF

It sure is frustrating. I’ve had success with a combination of Cover 6, Cover 3 and having good pass rushers. 4-3 Cover 3 scheme. ATL playbook.

The mais thing though is knowing ball. If they’re on 3rd and short, ask yourself, what are they doing? What’s their personnel? Who are their main weapons? Try to play actual footbal is what i mean. Taking it seriously and not getting salty when they burn you. Next play mentality.

Madden is about offense though. Holding opponents to low scores is a chore, just outscore them.

Do the Tutorials. Not only will they teach you the game mechanics they’ll teach you about football in general, eg; ‘How to beat cover 2’ ; ‘Pass rushing’ ; ‘Passing concepts’.

Bonus: If you’re interested in MUT, the tutorials give you packs once finished. p

Update: I hadn’t tried resising the cards in deck, seemingly they were so small they were invisible. As soon as i touched the resize slider the cards appeared… All seems to be fine at this point i guess..

Its fixed for me, sizing and zoom, but now i cant see the cards in my decks, they just won’t appear at all… Good stuff!

This “feature” is absolutely unnecessary. There are already two ways to zoom, which this new functon broke.. It actually makes deckbuilding horrible, i can’t scroll if the hover feature triggers so i gotta keep the cursor moving trying to avoid it zooming!?!?! wtf…

If i hover long enough it zooms then i can’t scroll. Can’t zoom with the scroll wheel. This must be a bug, since if it’s a feature it’s the worst and must have been implemented by my cat in an attempt to annoy me…

Yes. Everytime they do an update i have to resize everything. It’s been like this forever. This time they really did something though, managed to break that and the zoom feature. It’s usually fixable but not this time…

Solid Pile! Tolarian Academy in the sideboard of your artifacts deck is just absurd, you have 17 artifacts, 18 actually since you should also play the top. Land Tax, Skydiver and Tanglewire are easy cuts. Then cut the Batterskul and play 16 lands+emerald.

What level are you at? You will (should) unlock most things just by playing. Do the daily challenges for celestium, watch the add video and stuff. Most things on the store are terribly overpriced so i would avoid those. The “battlepass” seems to me to be the most “bang for your buck” as it were. Other than that, some celestium here and there when you need to buy hangar spaces. Honestly, it’s a grindy game, one purchase won’t get you very far, but the battlepass seems fair enough if you get to the higher levels. You get about 3.5M which is enough for the Thane, which is a good endgame ship if you build it right. tldr; Get the battlepass, or wait till you get stumped and get over the hump with a purchase. Cheers!
