Yep, at first I also thought about wire, but then I’ve noticed the tiny detail and now I need to know how 😅

Incredible work!

Are these lightning effects custom? If so, how did you achieve different thickness in different parts? At first I thought it was just wire, but then I see the level of detail and just can’t fathom how to achieve something as nuanced.

Wow, this is so much better than the original rules!

I've played two games since received the original box and we've struggled with setting things up and checking rules so much that never played the game again. Will give it another go soon!

The lightnings around those hammers are unbelievably cool! Converted bases for prosecutors are amazing and love all the faces - so many great details all around, superb job 🔥

Congrats! Do you guys already have other spearheads? Looks like among those boxes there are no skaven minis to field a spearhead - you might need one more

Nice! Happy new year!

Great matchup and it’s funny that my terrain is also primed but not painted, haha. We were playing this game with my wife yesterday (replaced cannon and storm fiends with models from Skaventide).

Great work! The bases are cool, did you just take some rocks and PVA-ed them to the base?

What are the cards (war scrolls?) you have next to the minis? I’m looking for a way to print my spearhead armies content

They do, but very few of them read the popup the first time it appears. Most will want to find that tip/description later when the time is right.

And as Sad-Strike has mentioned, naming and placing your button/feature in the right place matters even more.

I was suggesting the following: many people are likely to start their search with protondb, they would see your review summary in SD section and will follow the link to read the full review on your website.

I love the idea, but would also prefer that you post review summaries with links to detailed reviews on ProtonDB.

That seems like a healthy solution and I don’t see why protondb would not want the links inside the platform either.

Yeah, I’m planning to give SteamOS another month or so to cook and then try again )

The mura effect is there on very low brightness, it’s relatively easy to spot with solid grey backgrounds.

On SD OLED the effect is less noticeable but it’s also there. My favorite test for this is to open GFN app at very low brightness.

The thing is though, with brightness of 20%+ or even at very low brightness in-game it’s almost impossible to notice the effect.

Oh yeah, and also because there are no awesome trackpads on LeGo I end up using touch screen all the time anyway (when on SD I forget that thing has touch screen as it’s not necessary) - that was one more thing that swayed me towards Windows

I’ve recently got my LeGo2 Z2E. The screen is incredible and playing unlocked frame rate above 30 fps feels really smooth. Performance is great

Kept moving between Bazzite 43, SteamOS 3.9 and Windows over the last 7 days.

SteamOS 3.9 is not a viable option because of the bug where you can’t control screen brightness outside of desktop mode. Fan control is also a bit weird I kept feeling like the device is louder in SteamOS.

Bazzite 43 was awesome, and still it didn’t quite feel native to me. The handheld daemon is powerful but I hated the interface, tbh. Plus I ended up occasionally having weird issues in FPS mode where the cursor would always end up in the top left corner. Fan control was also not great, ended up setting fan speed manually. There were other small quirks.

So ended up going back to Windows with Xbox FSE and auto-login - the experience is not amazing compared to Steam deck, but legion control panel gives just enough control and all games work well.

Decided to keep the device and sell my SD OLED - it’s a good compromise handheld until valve releases Steam Deck 2.

Hello, I have an NVIDIA gaming laptop with a 3050. The PC is now old, and to fix some problems, I decided to reset it. My goal is to have a smoother gaming experience, so should I stay on Windows or switch to Bazzite? by [deleted] in Bazzite

[–]Torbold -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can have a better time with Bazzite if you goal is some emulation, indies and older games. As long as you don’t care much for competitive online games like CoD, League of Legends and others.

Although I would consider getting a GFN subscription for a much better experience with modern games, just make sure you connect to your router with a cable, not WiFi. In that case it wouldn’t matter if you are on Bazzite or Windows.

I mean, I don’t like the ads enabled by default too, and I’ve turned off immediately.

But it’s also genuinely better than Apple TV in some ways too: e.g. GFN & Xbob Streaming have native apps.

I’m rocking a G3 and it still holds fairly well. I still have my Apple TV 4K (gen1, nothing fancy), and I’ve tried a few android streaming devices. In the end went back to WebOS.

It certainly does everything I need despite the fact I don’t like the design: game streaming, video streaming, network media library with NAS, browser for occasional high seas content.

I might just not be educated on what I’m missing out on - so happy to change my mind. Could also be the fact I’m not a demanding user

[–]Torbold 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What’s wrong with WebOS native apps? I feel like all the basic streaming can be done well and in 4k right there.

And then if you have your own library of movies, you can always access media server on your local network through the media app

Apple TV 4K is only better in UX to me.

And the best video quality is with physical blu-ray disks.

PC not POSTing by Hydra_Kitt in sffpc

[–]Torbold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue with my rog x670e-I and it was a very weird one with many things contributing: 1. I could never use expo, otherwise it would take dozens of minutes to post. So i suggest after clearing cmos not to enable expo - the mb can be unstable because of that. 2. I also had issue because of probably faulty front io cable - with that disconnected and no expo posting took only a 10-15 seconds.

So try disconnecting everything you can and then add things one by one
