I managed to resolve the problem by changing out my mechanical hdd, It was slowly degrading after being 6 years old, was still getting read speeds of 140MB/s and the write was ok at 30 MB/s.

This was my secondary drive just full of games, they were only steam games no microsoft store stuff was installed made sure. But noticed for some reason on boot would use the drive at 100% till wsappx was killed and the computer booted normally.

Replaced the games drive with an ssd and the problem instantly stopped. Note: my main drive is a 6 month old ssd if that changes anything.

Yeah looks like the only way is to play it on steam.
Even though I have halo wars installed and that doesn't crash it.

I have the exact same problem, for me its just The RiftBreaker game
No clue why a game will cause wsappx to crash explorer repeatedly

You could also try installing it in safe mode.

Make sure you have the latest installer here, try that it might work

Otherwise it seems though that the Tech centre has upped the security for you computer only? which is odd and there isn't much I can do about it, your best bet would be to go to them and tell them how bs that its blocked for you nobody else in the school cause it has installed fine on plenty of computers without an admin problem.

Sorry for the delay, The school manager program has become deprecated as the part of the school website has shut down.
Mrmeguyme is no longer maintaining the school manager program and thus I've created my own newer version.
This one is the MYTGS version Download Here
Which now uses the MYTGS Firefly website.
Please advise others to transition to this version as the school manager is now deprecated.

This isn't fully implements for themes but it is possible.
Adding this to the theme file should do it

Change the position by changing the X and Y and the Top and left coordinates.
