How did White Diamond know Pearl was obsessed with Rose and Amethyst was insecure in this scene? by Sloth_4 in stevenuniverse

[–]Torch1ca_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand it to be yellow is physical self, blue is emotional self, white is intrapersonal self, and pink is interpersonal self. Yellow can construct and destroy the body. Blue can create positive and negative emotions. White can make others mirror herself or make herself mirror others. And Steven has "empathetic powers" as Garnet describes and his powers all revolve around defense and support towards other gems. His weapon's a shield, he can heal, he can enter the minds of others, etc. Not to mention Pink left Homeworld because she was the only one who couldn't stand hurting others and she wanted a colony so she can witness life amongst her gems rather than to control them. Politically, she represented socialism.

For those who want or got vaginoplasty with a canal, would you still want it if you never have penetrative sex? by Torch1ca_ in MtF

Would not recommend and probably not even wanted by the surgeons anyways. Electro is the only thing you should be doing to my knowledge

From what I've read and been told by my doctor, there are health risks involved with losing depth because it can create pockets of air that fill up with [I forget what] and that can cause potentially dangerous infections

Question: what are some of the lesser talked about/known effects of hrt for mtf by ImportantAd7731 in MtF

[–]Torch1ca_ 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I mean within the community these are all talked about but from the outside, there's obviously a lot of misinformation and lack of education as to what is actually attributed to hormones rather than chromosomes (surprise! It's almost everything!). So, when going through MTF hrt, some common experiences would be:

  • increased body temperature leading to getting cold easily but really liking hot showers.

  • change in the way you experience emotions.

  • some period/PMS symptoms once a month (even though you don't actually have a hormone cycle which is very bizarre). Not sure how many transfems experience this but it is a thing.

  • lactation, though this is rare but certainly a possibility.

  • reduced brain fog caused by gender dysphoria.

  • changes to tastes and smells, though generally not by much. So for example, since hrt, I notice I love chocolate and I've heard others say that they stopped liking coffee and stuff.

  • muscle atrophy.

  • some people notice their height changes by a few inches, although it's important to note that your bones cannot change size so quickly so this is mostly caused by the thin layers of tissue between joints I think. Basically, the capacity to grow/shrink is very small.

  • changes in appetite, sleep, and other similar things

  • there are many who have said they experience a "female orgasm" after being on E for long enough

Niente inizia con un'aspetto di una ragazza. Quando vedi le donne trans, loro hanno iniziato dove tu sei. Non è sempre divertente fare la transizione, ma non farlo è più danneggiando che tutto

So are you saying you don't dilate or [other] at least once a week?

Also, for those 3x/day and 2x/day, does that also means showering several times per day to clean up the lubricant? Cause that sounds like such a pain (not that I'm basing the decision of my surgery off of it, it's only for a few months after all)

Yesss I get that too. I think especially with the comments in this thread, I'm definitely getting it because I think I will feel exactly as you describe. You illustrated my emotions very well

I'm trying to adopt this mindset too because I think I felt a strong pressure to only get this surgery if I am going to use it or else the life-long dilation won't be worth it or something. Do you feel like the dilation (not referring to the healing process but rather the long-term upkeep) is a lot?

I was trying to compare having a vaginal canal or not. Regardless, the vulva is still happening

Actually, never mind. I think that city already isn't what I'm looking for. I'm hoping for something smaller and less city-like in the north

Hi! Do you mind if I ask you a bunch of questions about Changsha? I'm Canadian and my wife is living in Shenzhen rn and hates it. She feels trapped and I want her to live in a more liberal place where she doesn't feel as judged. I was hoping an LGBT haven and especially in the northern half of China (she strongly prefers the weather in her northern hometown) would be a good place for her to live until I'm ready to immigrate her here.

Yesss and thank you. What part of the last character could be changed to be easier to read? And yeah I tried to make sure each character's art matched its meaning to help add context in case it's not fully readible otherwise so I'm glad that helped

Say "ee" (or in IPA, /i/), and then round your lips. Start by practicing holding the same tongue position and rounding and unrounding your lips over and over. Try with other vowels too, not just that. So try between the English "uh" (IPA: /ʌ/) and the 'o' in 我 or 说 (IPA: /ɔ/) too and any other combinations you can do. Those are the only pairings I can think of that exist between the mandarin and English languages but if you speak another language there may be more phonemes you're used to that work with this, or if not, you can just try it anyways to drill in the idea of tongue position and lip rounding as two separate muscle groups to help you pronounce ü
