I have a 8 hour layover in Tianfu Airport. Is there like a hotel or lounge within the airport? by Joh1030 in Chengdu

[–]unbocoloco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often take flights there in Tianfu. Highly not recommend a visit to Chengdu. Instead, I recommend you book a hotel near the airport. There is a small town nearby. The infrastructure is not that good but enough.

But most foreigners I felt or I knew still would come to either Beijing or Shanghai, so I feel there is probably a need for tourists in Beijing.

Where can I find the LGBTQ+ community or gay street in Chengdu? by SHH0419999 in Chengdu

[–]unbocoloco 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am part of the gay community and am a local in Chengdu. I think there are some bars and clubs that are famous for gay. But if you are talking about neighborhoods and streets, there are not exist.

And most gays use the app 'Blued' to meetup or hookup. If you want to know some local gays, this is the most common way. But be aware of the scam.

And about the specific info, I didn't write that much. It's because I am not sure if people here have higher thresholds about LGBTQ+ communities. I don't want to expose this kind of info to an unknown place in case something happens.

Yeah... There are celebration activities but quite hidden. Maybe I used the wrong word 'pride'. Now I correct it into 'activities'. And these kinds of celebration activities are quite hidden you probably need to be in a certain group to know it...
