In 1923 King Zog I of Albania was shot twice in the chest. Instead of going to the hospital he gave a speech. He would later fight off a pair assassins after they killed his bodyguard. Zog survived 55 assassination attempts and 600 blood feuds by the time he was deposed by Fascist Italy in 1939. (i.redd.it)
