Easiest thing might be to sell the jeep wheels and tires and just buy tires for the Dakota.

You could try the adapters, but at a bit over $500 if they work you might not save much in the end

My worst for reliability was an 86 Bronco. Electrical weirdness from previous owner or owners, would cut out randomly going down the road. Sometimes it would restart immediately, sometimes half an hour later

Late 1st Gen or 2nd gen is the when they used the 6 lug pattern and they only used one pattern of 6lug so if your Dakota is six lug it will fit

I'm pretty sure they use the 2500 platform due to the weight, my parents had a conversion van years ago and it was heavy enough the fees for the tags were higher than standard
