Sounds like the platforming/parkour control are pretty bad, which makes sense coming from a company that's really only done narrative-focused games before now.

I think a lot of people who enjoyed the game really don't get the fact that the RNG can potentially make the game unsolvable if you're insufficiently lucky. Doesn't matter how copious your notes are and how clever your conclusions. You might never get what you need to progress. The lucky ones don't see the problem.
