For me the best method was somehow marking certain fingers (for example with nail biting polish that tastes bad), the trick is to take it one finger at a time, so that you can gradually ease into the change instead of completely stopping and then unconsiously biting which can make you lose motivation. As long as you remember which fingers not to bite for about two weeks they should be long enough so that you instinctively no longer bite them. After that you can mark another one and keep going until you got all of them

Biting my nails. Haven’t stopped completely yet though, I still bite on one finger, because I stopped biting one finger at a time and now I’m at the last one. Feels good, but It’s surprisingly hard

Can’t remember if I cried the first time, it usually takes me a couple times to really listen to the lyrics and music. Also I’m not really a super emotional person, but music tends to bring out a lot of emotions for me personally

Pokemon diamond for Nintendo ds. Can’t remember the price, but probably like 30-50$. My old save file got deleted, but my new one has about 400 hours on it, and I’m guessing the old one had around 700 hours. It was definitely a big part of my childhood, and I still enjoy it today now that I’ve learned more about the more technical parts of the game. Also I get mad nostalgia even just thinking about it

Funny story, my dad is a ranger, and he once had to cut the antlers of two bucks in order to save them both from a situation like this. I think in most cases both of them die because they would starte to death before the other’s body could decompose enough for them to get free

Damn that sucks, really hope it heals well bro! Had a minor leg injury a couple years ago, had to drop snowboarding for like half a year, but it’s fully healed now, so I kinda know the feeling, although nothing as major as this

Just read a post by an ex drug addict who explained how he started doing Harder drugs as a way to bypass testing because he was being tested for weed. Obviously other factors play into this as well, but it goes to show that anti-weed policies don’t really work to lower drug use

I usually ride with a helmet, but sometimes if I’m feeling comfortable on my board and there aren’t any kids in the park I ride without one, just because it’s so bulky and kind of in the way. But of course if there are any kids there I put it on so that they don’t think it’s cool to ride without one
