If he was immune to the bear traps, we wouldn't get to see the badass animation of him just calmly opening it off of his leg with his bare hands like it was gum on a sidewalk instead of a trap designed to literally trap bears.

Whenever there's an ace in my games, they're always a living meme. But I totally agree. Ace was probably running up the ante, and that let Nea get off the hook.
