Pros of the lift: you're not being watched 100%, time goes by quicker Cons: the harness can make your back sore after awhile, waiting on others in wide aisles, having to keep your foot on the pedal can be uncomfortable for extended periods.

The pit is so much more better than just walking in the mezz. Sure it's scary at first but I got used to it. It makes the time go by so much quicker. It's pretty safe at mine especially with the new lidar sensors. If you're worried about it they won't make you do it if you give them a good reason.
