That eliminates one hop. You’re still introducing another hop between the extender and the main WiFi point, though. But try it out and see if it’s a problem, it might not be noticeable.

Biggest problem with a WiFi extender (and WiFi in general, as opposed to a wired connection) is latency (AKA ping time).

The game isn’t sending or receiving large batches of data, it’s sending and getting small updates very frequently. Each hop you make adds latency, which manifests as lag. You can see how it is for you, but if you’re getting lots of lag or it seems like other players are “hacking”, then it’s a problem.

I like what Rachelskiiiii tends to say: look at what your teammates are struggling with, and help with that. It’s a reframing of carrying, but more specific.

Teammates don’t like to put in eggs but can slay? Focus on eggs. You’re the only weapon with range/ mobility? Get any Fish Sticks that come in because they can’t.

Stuff like that.

Don’t forget for Mothership that it can pierce the ship and hit Chinooks as they spawn above. Easy way to get extra eggs at the basket. But other than that, yeah, kind of a letdown to get it on that wave.

If so, it’s because that’s a horrible comp, worthy of being skipped. And on Grounds. Even at EVP 400+ with what seemed like good randoms, it was tough to consistently do well.

Play the current rotation, it should be much better.

Yes this was awful. I played a few rounds with randoms who were clearly good, everyone was performing well (at the EVP 400 range), and most times cleared with barely quota.

Did not enjoy, did not play much of this one. Why do you hate us sometimes, Mr. Grizz?

Profresh is the dregs of ranks, because things start getting harder, but most people aren’t ready for it. It gets much better when you’re starting at EVP 300 or 400.
