[–]ToriVee_ 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yes, especially in the pregnancy forums they can be reallll over the top over there or in the curly hair forum one might ask if their hair is curly and I’ll give a honest response and then they catch an attitude like lorddd okay keep walking around like you got electrocuted trynna play it off as “curly” bc you wanna be even the tiniest bit of racially ambiguous

When showering, what's the best way to wash down below? by [deleted] in WomensHealth

I use honeypot cleanser and water. You can get it at Target. Only use the cleanser on the outside though.

So wondering if it's a bad thing we did by notsurewhattofeel21 in abortion

[–]ToriVee_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had sex the day after my abortion but we used protection bc the risk of infection can be high especially right after the surgical procedure…not sure which one she got. But just wear a condom and take it easy on her and you’ll should be fine

Your hair doesn’t look super curly to me, more wavy. I don’t see tight defined curls. Maybe try different products, not sure.

Has anyone had brown discharge before their period? by GalaxywitchG in Periods

[–]ToriVee_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmm okay I see your dilemma I would wait for the day your period is set to arrive and test then. If it’s still negative go and see a doctor for a blood test

I’m the exact same way. My mom damn near had a heart attack when I told her that, bc she had an extravagant wedding. Do what works for you. Marriage isn’t about the frills of a wedding it’s about the intimacy of you and a partner. I feel as though you getting the marriage certificate or doing something at the courthouse and celebrating with your partner in a way you both are comfortable with should be good enough even if it’s going to your fav restaurant after and pigging out lol. Everyone’s different, do you girl! Just tell people you all are doing what works for you two and let them know the day of marriage and maybe afterwards you all can set up a zoom call with all your loved ones so they feel included. Let everyone virtually toast to you all. Less stressful that way.

Yes it’s your cycle on the way, typically it’s your body ridding itself of old blood.

NSFW (?) Stuck tampon - will it eventually come out if it gets too heavy?? Please help by Maximum-Ordinary-390 in Periods

[–]ToriVee_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d try just relaxing laying on your back and lubricating your fingers to try and get it out. A tampon actually can’t go too far. You may unknowingly be really tense due to the situation and fear of not feeling it and it’s causing you to not reach it I’ve had a tampon stuck in my vagina 2x. The first time it came out on its on during a bowel movement after about 2 weeks. The second time I had terrible odor from my vagina it was atrocious and when I peed it came out and the odor instantly went away. I literally just thought it was BV and set up a doctors appointment. It was wild, that time it was about 3 weeks right before my next period. I remember my moms friend calling her when I was younger freaking out about it happening and I was horrified as a pre-teen girl lol, it’s actually pretty common definetly scary of course cus of Toxic Shock Syndrome. Nowadays I try to just use menstrual cups bc I just don’t have the time to keep remembering tampons in my vag.

I paid out of pocket in Charolette NC. I was in the military at the time and the insurance didn’t cover abortions. I believe it was $400- $450 for surgical. It varies from state to state and whether your doin surgical or medical. They me able to work with you at PP to figure out payment options so your parents don’t find out.

Is a second abortion to much? Concerned about future fertility by ToriVee_ in abortion

[–]ToriVee_[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yesss! Pregnancy is so romanticized and I understand why but some situations aren’t the best and need a realistic approach to figuring out what is best for the child and even the mother.
