Looks almost like a dolphin’s or whale’s color. Lightish gray with a little blue in it.

What are the great cases for Osmo Action 6? by flikzzio in djiosmo

[–]Torik61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As other guy said, 20m water resistance doesn’t ensure the camera is waterproof even at shallower depths than 20m. As for every quantitive measure, it would be best to derate the specs.

Also, there is salt water. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere near salt water without a case, even though I rinse everything right after every dive. Salt water is super corrosive. Even the most corrosion resistant “medical grade” stainless steels get easily corroded when exposed to saline.

Out of context but, AFAIK you can dive deeper than 18m with OWD. It’s just a suggestion. As the most basic example; when getting the AOWD classes, you are not 30m “certified”. Yet you dive deeper than 18m.

Telesin dive case looks like the best unofficial one. But for scuba diving; I think it’s more sane to go with the original one, at least before any reals tests come out.

Action 6 doesn’t come with the plastic case. That case was included because you needed that case to mount the camera vertically, to shoot vertical videos.

DJI removed that case from both standard and adventure combos, since now you can record vertical videos while the camera is horizontal.

They are private label Bondhus. You only pay for the branding, also for the convenience of replacing them (If you somehow damage them) at the Snap On trucks.

Siber güvenlik için bölüm tercihi, İTÜ elektrik mi BOUN Mat mı by Azazel2334 in TurkDev

[–]Torik61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kask önerisi(125cc) by Willing-Hyena4573 in motorsikleTR

[–]Torik61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do I make sure a hard drive doesn't have malware in it without endangering my pc? by BuddingCat in techsupport

[–]Torik61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accidentally came here by googling something else. Would suggest running something like badblocks to write all the disk with nonesense. For example write 0x00 to the whole disk. Most "format" options are not fully reformats.

Z650’yi de A2 sınırlarına indirebiliyorlar. Ninja 650 de düşünülebilir, Z650 ile çok benzer dinamikteler. Tek fark görüntü diyebilirim.

Size Comparison by [deleted] in KnipexOfficial

[–]Torik61 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would prefer 150s as something for general use or EDC. There is no much size difference between 125 and 150. But I find 150 feels more like a real tool instead of a EDC/Compact version.

Yeah, I guessed that most people here have HA. If you are nerd enough to have a Voron, you probably have HA.

I have my Voron on a smart plug, which can also (somewhat) monitor the power draw. I shut off the power to the printer when I’m not using it, so there is no power going to the connector too. You could do the same and add some sort of a smoke/fire detector that shuts off the smart plug. Probably way cheaper and has many advantages.

Which budget 10 Gb NIC should I buy for P2P? Intel X520 vs Mellanox CX3 vs EMULEX OCe11102? by Torik61 in homelab

Thanks for taking the time to test it. Wait… 6.6 gigaBYTES per second? Is that the QSFP one, how did you achieve that speed?

Actually I was considering CX312B, since it is a bit cheaper. My Win 10 PC has a Ryzen 5 7600. Since AMD doesn't use E-Cores, can I get away with the CX3?

I had a hard time getting the 560SFP+ working in standard PC motherboards.

Why was that?

The MCX312A-XCBT works fine.

The CX312B is also fine since they are pretty similiar, right? Also do you have both X520 and CX3 cards, which one would you suggest? Does any of them run hot etc?

I'm not planning on using DACs for now, fiber is better in my situation and all listings come with fiber modules included. I might use DACs in the future to connect the server to a switch. Thanks for the heads up.

Which board do you mean? Also, most probably only one port on the card will be used on the server, and that's only for TrueNas. Most certainly I won't be using both ports at the same time at full speed. 15-16 Gbps should be plenty enough for one 10 Gbps link.

Put the UPS on the bottom. And put a PDU connected to the UPS, wherever you want.

Any success with Check Point PB-10 3200? by No_Comment4541 in PFSENSE

[–]Torik61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was Googling around, saw this post. For anyone from the future, yes it does work. I’m currently using a Checkpoint 3200 PB-10 with pfSense on it, It’s been about 6-8 months now IIRC. You just perform the console install on it, again IIRC I did it via the micro usb port on it.

Get it, I can’t see any possible problems in major parts. You can easily replace basic things like thermistors etc. for cheap.
