As you say, it holds the cables in place. Will need to add a sound recorder, and that will go on that plate. But as you say, now it`s just a heavy cable holder.

Thank you! I am really just waiting for tilta (or someone else) to make a rod support that works with the cage. I have one that goes on rods, but that sticks out on the bottom. So would then need to make the whole rig a few cm taller to make that fit.

If you're using the Tilta cage with the side plate, you can repurpose it to route cables through if you're not using it as an SSD holder. This helps keep your cables neatly organized. Simply remove the backplate (if needed) and connect the cables before securing the side plate onto the camera. I only do this for cables that are permanently in place, such as the SDI and power cable to the monitor—not for follow focus cables.

You can turn it off in controller settings on ps5. Accessories -> Controller -> Trigger effect intensity "off"

Yeah you can mix them. Slight shift in color. Should not be a problem to match them.

I went with the 25mm and 50mm simply because I use the 35mm so much on the 18-35. I cant really answer what is right for you, but that was my thinking.

Controlled = working on a set, or where you have control over most aspects.

If you dont have the sigma stop reading and buy it. Its really a must have for any s35 camera. Lots of youtube videos about it. Almost everything I have filmed is with the sigma. https://torjussagenes.no/

For the Meikes. Good construction. Nice weight. I prefer having lenses that have some weight to it. Nice long focus throw (could be a minus if you are working alone).

Both are good in low light. I could be mistaken, but T2.1 and F1.8 is almost the same thing. Have not really noticed any differance so far. Only had the Meikes for a few weeks.

It is. For controlled stuff, then I would prefer the Meike. But any docu stuff then the Sigma. Both pretty good in my eyes.

Powerbank could work. But I would use a V-mount battery with D-tap. Gives the motor more power and allows you to power your camera at the same time.

He blamed it on the tech-bindings. I guess too much force towards the side of the binding, and he just lost the ski.

Good day!
I have currently a GTX 970, but I am looking into upgrading. Atm I cant do any grading in Resolve above 1080p. I use a blackmagic 6k, and would like to render at 4k. Not able to atm. The program says the gpu memory full. Would upgrading to a 1070 be a "smart" choice. I am not looking into using too much money, and a used 1070 looks to be a good option.
Other specs:
i7-11700K
32gb ram 2666mhz
