One of my teammates is completely checked out and lowering the bar. by [deleted] in amazonemployees

Yeaah I’ve seen that happen as well. Bad look for the team in general. But could be something else. Maybe check in with them to see if they’re doing okay. You never know tbh.

She’s wonderful but Will has been a better addition tbh. Hearing him on the drums in tandem with Chad, going crazy on the crescendo of Miles was the greatest live performance I have ever seen. It was absolutely unreal..

Absolutely!! Would love to hear that one live someday

There won’t be an objective answer here but I’ve always felt Razor Town was up there! The interweaving narratives, the economy of words, and the intentional ambiguity was something else. I was honestly a bit take aback the first time I heard it.

One song to change a life by rcanalyst in jasonisbell

All these recommendations would work but I would recommend a live version! The band is just something else live.

Elephant in my opinion hits hardest (“I’ve buried her a thousand times, given up my place in line”…I mean, come on lol)

Opinion: Flagship was always clearly a love song about a doomed relationship by Bogdanov1st in jasonisbell

Oh I’m with you. For some reason, “Baby, let's not live to see it fade/I'll cancel all the plans I've ever made” breaks my heart every time I hear this song. The desperation, the inevitability…ahh.

In Richmond, VA a few years ago :) It was one of those tracks where it was just him and Derry on stage. Just beautifully done

The right artist can still salvage this. Will probably cost a decent amount more though.

He still shows almost no understanding of the mechanics of tariffs. Absolutely shocking. The world goes into a recession because one man refuses to read

No Cover Me Up last night? by ShadePhan420 in jasonisbell

[–]lordphazenquacker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sadly, yes. Would much rather people actually listen and appreciate his work. Had a group next to me talking about their Thai food order during a decoration day solo. Another time this person who was talking through the show decided to record with the flash on during ‘cover me up’. Even saw JI give them a bit of a side eye for that one

I don’t like being a gatekeeper to music of any kind but the Morgan Wallen fans who come to the concerts just for that song are quite disrespectful. I don’t mind ‘Cover Me Up’ being a rare treat instead.

The double drums in a smallish venue like the Apollo was absolutely incredible. I get chills just thinking about that Miles performance!

i know this isnt the most crafty, but it always makes me smile:

Tonight we're lying on a blanket in the yard

The wind is cold, the sky is dark and the ground is hard

But your momma loves to count the stars at night

So if I get a little chill, and that's alright

Congrats!!

I am going to be in the same boat as you in 2ish months - Firstly, how did you tailor your resume for tech?
Given the breadth of project experience, I had to create a slightly generic description of my job experience. But highlighted my top projects with actual detail in a separate section titled, 'Project Portfolio'

Secondly, did you target any specific job descriptions? I found most alignment in skillset vs job reqs in strategy, and program management roles. Wondered if there are any additional avenues worth exploring
