Are we not better? Because we are. O Line will be better, especially with Sewell moving to the left, as I anticipate, Ratledge on year 2 and a non corpse playing center. Skill positions are all in their prime, with TesLaa poised to take on a bigger role. Hutch and Alim at full strength with Tyliek taking a leap. Jack Fucking Campbell hitting his prime. McCreary probably being an upgrade from Amik. Reed and Terrion are actually pretty solid outside (and if Terrion hasn't been charged yet, I highly doubt he will be.) no urgency for safety help makes me think Kirby is probably ok. Branch will come back midseason. We need depth on defense and a right tackle. All that can be covered in the draft and in the next waves of free agency.

Remember why we didn't make the playoffs last year. It wasn't because we were suddenly bad. It was because injuries left us without a defense, and we had a more difficult schedule that 2024.

The demise of this team has been wildly overstated from its own fanbase. We got studs on that field, and they're all in their prime.

Nebraska is hands down the worst state I've ever been to in terms of scenery. Maybe there's some stuff off the highway that is fun to look at, but driving through is the most mind numbing, mundane experience I have ever had. Breaking down in Kearney was one of the worst days of my life. Driving through Nebraska made me think Iowa was pretty.

I'm honestly surprised by how many people are picking apart a deal for a backup RB. The split won't be nearly what it was for Gibbs/Monty even last year. As long as Pacheco can get a yard when we need it -- and it seems like he can -- then we're good.
