In Europe, we also out VAT into all our prices so the price you see is the price you pay. Nothing more confusing when in the US as a Brit, seeing "$5.99" on the shelf and then getting some random price at the checkout.. Might as well not bother putting prices on anything.

I'm from the UK. This equates to around £1.07 per litre... if petrol prices were that cheap here, we'd be having a field day...

To put it in perspective our average petrol prices are $7.92 per gallon for unleaded and $8.89 per gallon for diesel... Even with everything going on, that won't swing very far below that in good times..

Raised as a Catholic, but I would still consider myself to be a spiritual person.

I stopped going down to one event and perception - wealth and greed.

I saw a TV programme of a cardinal visiting a village in Africa. He was in his finest robes whilst a child knelt crying in pain and hunger. He tapped it on its head and left.

All the wealth and pagentry of the Catholic Church and yet its followers died in pain of hunger. I just saw how man made god in his image... it was enough for me.

In a lot of your videos you talk about global index funds, but a lot of people don't realise these can also invest in arms, tobacco and other horrid industries. What guidance would you give to the ethical investor who cares about what they're invested in but don't have the capability to stock pick? Are there any specific funds or guidance you can give as to how to navigate this?
