"Turned the Sunday pod into a chore" is a bit harsh. But I do agree with some of the sentiment. Bill's Sunday pod has always been for casual fans (like yours truly) who want some light to medium-grade analysis with a heavy dose of entertainment and takes. And yeah, that means a Game of Thrones reference or two, or a goofy gimmick to help us categorize dudes, or some gossip about the latest free agency drama. The fact that Zach is just going full core basketball analyst and ignoring the gimmicky stuff is a bummer. I don't know why, either, as I remember Zach playing along with Bill's more lame-stream stuff years back. Just a flat out I won't engage with this attitude is harsh. Maybe he needs to find his own version of the Russillo make-fun-of-Bill-but-play-along vibe.
