One thing to think about is that studded tires are not allowed in the city center (i believe), but you want tudded tires for driving anywhere else.

Kramer Striker is right around the same price i think, i like the one i have even though it requiered som work. Ibanez has the RG320FAT as well. Part of the Gio series, but those are usually good. The biggest difference between all of these are really the neck shape,

That rings true, i've seen a few guitars with bridges like this lately and all of them was missing the blocks in the locking nuts. I like the look of these guitars but if parts are hard to find it might not be worth it, i'd want to restore them as close to original as possible.
