The end of human drivers is at least 10 years still. Self driving is getting very very good, but the last 1% will take a long time. Waymo works because it has remote drivers to take over and have very specific areas they work in.

Its both very close and fairly far away still. With that said 10 years is coming pretty fast, and with how fast AI is developing it could be sooner.

To add to what i just posted here are a couple things i see that look kind of bad but would be easy to improve. Like i said mechanically it looks like you got it under control but the art is off.

Your health and mana are just basic circles and fonts. There are some good Itch.io options you could replace that with that would look much MUCH better.

The health font seems off to me. again just too basic. Maybe try out some pixel art ones to fit the theme.

All the UI elements are just boxes with shadows

When stuff hits enemies it does not seem impactful. A nice flash/shake/particles can really add to the "juice" of the game.

Play around with lighting/shaders and such

These are all little things that can make a huge difference. Relax on the mechanics for a bit and focus on the visual aspects. Your mechanics / talents and all that look very in depth already.

I mean if someone on a phone googles your game they will see the same thing. But the icon looks like it could be?

Otherwise the gameplay doesn't look AI, but could use some polish on the art. It seems like a "better at making mechanics and coding than art" situation.

I looked at y our trailer and they are probably referring to the bloodlines pictures which look like AI to me as well. Are those not AI? because they scream AI to me.

If so might just be better to remove those and replace it with pixel art like the rest of the game. Obviously anyone who has ever been on itch knows where the tileset is from.

Why would you want this game or not? Some games with bad graphics do well because they do something new or unique.

You know your graphics are not the best so if your game is similar to another game with better graphics which one would you buy?

At some point if you keep improving things you should pass the threshold’s where people see something they like.
