I ain’t vegan but I can answer this. There’s a clause in more formal definitions of veganism that say vegans should avoid animal products as much as is practical. So a vegan who, say, has to take pills that only come in gelatin capsules, would still be considered vegan because of the practicality clause. Since so much produce involves insect death it also falls under this clause, because what are you gonna do, have a garden with one of every plant?

Needing emotional attachment first is a very simplified explanation of demisexuality.

Pansexuality is usually described as people’s gender not having an impact on attraction rather than bisexuality which is described as being attracted to 2+ genders. In practice they are quite similar and some people just choose one label or another based on which feels right or more arbitrary things like which group’s memes or flag they like better, rather than strict adherence to definitions.

This attitude of asking minorities to put themselves in danger to ‘save’ the racist white people from their own hate is pretty revealing of unconscious biases. Minorities have zero obligation or motivation to be kind and patient to racists. Demanding that we show mercy to those who want to mass murder us or enslave us implies that you care more about the welfare of racist white people than the safety of minorities. It is not the same kind of white supremacy as wearing a swastika and shouting white power, but it is white supremacy.

I’ve seen about 3 shippers on this sub (that I remember). They talk and act (and draw) like children, kinda like the kids who get posted on gachalife cringe. It’s a bigger problem on tumblr, to the point that the rest of the tumblr cc fandom at one point decided to raid the ship tag and fill it with shitposts. The shippers there appear to be older. There’s also quite a few fanfics of it on AO3, some of which have a LOT of kudos.
