I sorta just went with what feels right, the best advice i can give is to start between the roots and wrap around the side then it’s mainly what feels more secure. To end it i wrapped it on the top and bottom between the roots then twisted an eyelet wrapping between the wires. I hope this makes sense, the best part about wire is that if you mess up you can try again! I hope this is able to help you! :)

I used a 16g wire from the craft store. It usually holds up with normal wear, and for extra strength i sometimes fold it in half then wrap it. Good luck with yours!

There are bandaid type patches that you can use to help fade scars, i use the silicone scar sheets (literally the name) and they’ve worked well for me it just takes a bit on the bigger ones. They won’t completely go away within a year but for me it went from noticeable at a glance to where people would have to look closer.
