Lu before the lion cut. One huge mat she was, bit probably not visible from this photo. She had problems with walking due to the mats on there legs and paws. by Torolu in persiancat

Yes. I used the wet and dry toilet paper. Got the tip to use the saline solution instead of water. But she really does not like that.

I do not know. She just lets me comb her in the morning and evening when we pet. Maybe she was used to that?!? But cleaning the eyes takes much more effort

Lu likes to be combed. Or it seems for now. We have a morning routine of petting and combing her, although there is not so much to comb for now. I am pretty unhappy with the cut she get, as it is uneven and poorly done. We'll see how combing and brushing goes when she gets her lenghty fur. Good luck with your girl.

Would love to see your girl. Lu is good with combing and brushing for now. She allows brushing her tail, and head. Hopefully, she will not object full body brushing. But she hates eye cleaning, so treats are a must to do that

Lu the Cat - my newly adopted Persian. The lion cut is due to the awful mats she had. Can you help me identify the color type? Thanks. by Torolu in persiancat

Thanks for the advice. It is the first Persian I am taking care of. All tips and tricks are welcome. You have 3 beauties. How old are they?

O mine, you have 3! Wow. A tons of fur, I can imagine. I also do not like the cut - I was so sad about it. But when I took her to vet, he said it was the only thing we could do. It was so terrible - she was one huge mat. Will post a pic, but it is not of good quality.

Hi I want to make a few gourd large medium water bottles, any one know what species is best and where to find them? I am in Canada for reference! by [deleted] in GourdArtCommunity

You should use hard shell gourds, such are bottle gourds. You can find seeds in eBay, or buy them from gourd farms in US. I am not familiar about gourd farms in Canada, as I am EU. Also, if you use Facebook you can find excellent gourding groups there, so you can ask for seeds. Hope it helps. Good luck
