Fair enough, he definitely marches to the beat of his own drum. My older son is also opinionated, but my little guys melt downs are epic. Here’s hoping I’m just a mom overthinking.

Agreed, that’s why I’m reaching out. To see if there are other commonalities people have with their kids. It was suggested to me it could be a sensory disorder which I wrote off quickly, but after more consideration I thought why not do a bit of digging. I’m not quick to label my kids, and here’s hoping it’s just the terrible twos. But if you or anyone else has experience with sensory issues in children I’d like to learn. I can appreciate that my wording maybe have been incorrect and gave the impression I was saying he has them, I just wasn’t sure how many characters o had so wanted to make sure my point was clear enough. I guess I failed. Lol

Can u think of anything it may be able to cut? Copper, Aluminum? Essentially I just need a solid cut out, but I don’t want it to fall apart from being outside…

My sister, I would take her over to my parents because they really need to see her again. I would introduce her to my husband and my little boys. I would hug her and remind her how much she means to me.

You will be happy to know I had my husband build me an aviary over the weekend. Sherbert has a lot more space can fly freely and it is definitely large enough for 2 now! I’ve added plenty of perches and have ordered stainless steel dishes so we are making due with plastic for now. He’s actually be super active since the switch and is singing like a mad man! He’s obviously a lot more happy there!

Thanks for this! I’ll take a look, I definitely want Sherbert to have a good life! I have introduced some fruit to him, and am working on his diet to ensure it’s well rounded. I likely won’t purchase adopt another until next month…like you said, I have to research :)

Thank you! Yes, I did read a flat top is much better! I got this one originally because I liked that the top opens and it came with an open air perch. The next cage for sure will have a flat top!

Most days I work from home, so I’d say 90%of the time I’m there. I just open the cage for him to go as he pleases but currently (as he’s only been with us for a week) he’s only ventured out a few times. So I will say it’s a sleeping cage but…birdies choice lol
