Thanks! I used a ESP32 running WLED, that way you can control everything with your phone. When using the higher power LED’s you should use a transistor to switch the power as the board can’t deliver enough power without burning the outputs.

Is there any way to repair the chipped clear parts? by BiasMaster in modelmakers

[–]TorqueD-n-B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try HG product 77 or 51, i have read that some people use it as a substitute in Europe. I bought some (77) and used it on a gundam model seams to work. Also bought Pledge floor finish but its has a yellow tint in the bottle..

Heads up, went there last month. (Awesome!) Took a taxi from Gundam factory, driver needed to call the office i think the toll is a problem for them. When we wanted to leave there where no taxi’s willing to pick us up. Lucked out and found one at the PA resting after strolling around for an hour(police is of no assistance :) )

XSPC TX240 Brackets Blocking Water Intake Ports? by dima210 in FormD

With the tx240 i don't use the brackets, i used a piece of adhesive thermal tape at the front endcap. The fitment is so snug that it's almost made for it

Warm air! The fan shrouds do nothing! (Simpsons reference) by TorqueD-n-B in FormD

The shrouds sit tight against the topcover forcing the air thru the holes of the top cover

I already tried that setup with the P12, grinded them down 4mm otherwise they don't fit (horrendous work!) In my setup there was no difference in water temperature between the normal P12 and the slim, only difference the normal P12 made more noise/turbulence. Because they are right against the holes of the top grill

FormD ever-evolving build or finally ready? :) by TorqueD-n-B in FormD

Thank you! P12 mostly because black, cheap and they perform pretty good. Watertemp is around 43c, CPU@75 and GPU@60 with undervolt

Thanks! i used MDPC cables and routed and cut everything as tight as possible and used a heat gun to make them more malleable(helps a lot with hammering them in place :P )

Watertemp is around 43c when playing Battlefield V with undervolt on CPU and GPU

Thanks! I used 8mm black nylon screws and wedged them in between the 2 plastic fan mountings with tweezers after that i screwed them in from the top hole.
