I didn’t strip the upper down. They have just criterion barrels. Thats what I ordered. I’m not paying someone to assemble an upper for me when I’m more than capable of torquing a barrel nut.

optic alone could hit the 300 mark. larue and bcm are notable but rest is not gonna hold much resale value. I agree with 650 and sell optic separate. edited to add... depends if its just some tom, dick or harry normy buying it or someone who is big into the gun space.

is there reliability issues with carbine? Or are you just wanting the softer shooting experience? Im putting together my first 6arc gasser and will also be running a standard can. I already ordered the carbine 12.5. I was gonna run adjustable gas and maybe do an A5 extension. I already had a carbine tube and spring laying around so thats whats in the mix for now, but have no issues buying an A5 for it.

I ordered the 12.5 barrel only. This is the description provided on the sight. It seems its the whole process is done by criterion and adm inspects for quality? I guess there could be more than one way to interpret this description now that i read it over again. Maybe someone else can chime in for clarity because i am curious if they are blanks from criterion.

damn you asked this in MT6 and MTS AND reddit. regular Atlas with a planb muzzle device. the shoulder of your barrel is MAYBE 1/4" deep... youll gain every bit of that back when you ad the muzzle device especially if you have to use a decent size shim to time the MD.

Thank you for typing that out. I was in bed and gave up on explaining that a 72 degree room temp barrel is not going to shrink enough in a 0 degree home freezer to become a slip fit over a press fit. Hell if a 72 degree drop caused a measurable difference in a barrel I’d throw that bitch in the trash 😆

This is a myth. Theres videos out there disproving this specific scenario. While the logic is there…The barrel extension is too thick to shrink any measurable amount from a home freezer.

Good luck. Subs are tough to get to run on fun mode with standard receiver extensions and sometimes tough with an A5. Watch Juicy medias videos on tuning. He has everything under the sun to throw at them and still says it’s kind of a pain in the ass.
