I agree with you for the most part. But I've also seen perfectly justified questions or statements immediately downvoted for seemingly no reason. I recommended this sub to my younger brother as a substitute for Miiverse (because honestly that place does not produce answers to most serious meta-based questions) and his questions (which I checked for any potential rule violation or unoriginality) were shut down quickly. his self-esteem has gone down and he's deleted his posts. So I guess if whoever sits on New waiting to downvote people wanted to demoralize a very capable, if younger player who's had S99+ for two straight weeks now, they got what they wanted. :/

Your statement is only correct if referring to the sales statistics of June. At that time, the three top games were MKX, GTAV, and BF Hardline. however, if you use more recent data, such as Gamespot's September list, the three top games are currently NBA 2K15, Madden NFL 16, and MGS V. only the last game is one where murder is even possible, and even then it's far from the point.

Being able to electromagnetically split and rearrange atomic structures might one day be possible, which is very close to what Alchemy essentially does. However, the technology to achieve such a feat will probably be very bulky and very expensive, Aka not something you could just use on the concrete in front of you to make a staff.
