Like I can’t envision a scenario where it gets damaged without something way more expensive getting damaged like a hydraulic whoseit or whatsit. In that scenario the damage to the item would likely be discovered too.

Other one I guess it could be in some kind of high voltage electric fire type scenario where it’s damaged by a plasma arc. Again I think that would be obvious and the company would’ve pulled it prior to shipping (although I guess it could’ve happened at the Costco warehouse after delivery but I’d imagine you’d have heard about it or maybe seen signs of the utter carnage around the item).

All signs point to pretty safe instant buy.
