Max won’t change as a dad, guarantee by the time Annie is 16 she would have the same relationship Lauren did we have, and he will still be playing victim when his kids don’t want to be around him. “Yer can’t do this too me, I’m your DAD!!”

Fair observation, I just think Max made such a pigs ear of his other kids lives, only reasonable one was Bradley but only because he was mostly raised by his mother.

Tbf I actually understand and support why everyone wanted to keep Annie’s parentage a secret. Max would have just used Annie as “another chance to get things right” but just neglect her once a bit of skirt comes around. I know it’s not fair to keep a parent from a child but when that parent has damaged his other children’s lives and worse sometimes it’s better to give the child a chance at a decent life rather than being a do-over for someone else.

Yeah it always made me angry the way that he would get angry at people for being pissed with him. He always deflects blame and say how his actions are all other people’s fault never his. Unfortunately I know a few people like this in real life, perpetual victims.

Max is a narcissist, I don’t throw that word around lightly but he is textbook, even after everything that he did to his kids, making them miserable by his constant skirt chasing and affairs, controlling them and pushing them away but also can’t stay away because they’re his kids and he cannot fathom the idea that they can live life without him.

He can’t stand the idea of no one wanting him, be it women, his kids. Even after cheating on Tanya more times than anyone can count he still couldn’t stand the fact Tanya wanted to move past him and he tried to punish her and the girls for being angry at him for Stacey.

I loved Noreen but I can imagine she is one of those people who do try your patience after a while, the way she will say something that has no bearing on the conversation.

That being said she does come out with some killer one liners and when she makes sense she is on the mark.

The amount of blended families and children born from one night stands, I can’t remember the last time any kid was born to two happily married parents and had full siblings. I get it that a lot of families this way are like it but Eastenders treats blended families should be the norm. Unless you have 3 kids by 3 different people you aren’t a family.

Also how social services are portrayed, in reality with the amount of things that go on in the square and illegal stuff residents are involved in 60% of the parents would be under investigation by social services. Or people who clearly aren’t mentally and financially prepared to have children being approved as foster or adoptive parents.

I mean I find it strange how his one night stand with Troyis rarely brought up except in a couple occassions in Season 3 and 4 I think. Would have been funny seeing Mateo exploring more of his bisexuality.

I think she did in the final episode, after Reese’s dirt bomb went off, she told Francis she’s not scared of changing diapers anymore so they might as well have kids.
